Classes held in Ballet, Tap, Modern Stage, Disco, Street Dance, Lyrical. Modelling, Festivals, Acrobatics, Singing & Performing Arts.
TAP
The tap programme of study encompasses a variety of different cultures and styles. Whilst some of these steps are universal in this art form, it is the way the steps are combined and the empasis placed on style and delivery of the work that makes the programme of study unique.

MODERN JAZZ
The Modern Jazz Programme of Study whilst building on strength, stamina and flexibility is unique that provision is made for the injection of current trends, styles and the indivisuals personality which leads to the ability to relate and adapt to styles used both in the world today and in the future.

MODELLING
The Modelling programme of study is progressive and structured to develop technique,performance and catwalk skills . It is designed on the professional aspect of modelling and is divided in to three parts Interview,Technical and Catwalk . Medal tests are also offered in this subject.
ROSE AWARDS
The Rose Awards give younger students a stepping stone to the comprehensive medal and examination system and cover all the main disciplines.
Students go into the examination room with their teacher who has chosen the music and will guide them through the required exercises as practiced in their lessons.
Successful candidates will each receive a Certificate and a Mounted Cup
CLASSICAL BALLET
The Classical Ballet programme of study is structured to develop technique and performance skills in a safe manner

LYRICAL
Lyrical was known the early days as Musical Comedy. It is an artistic impression showing emotion through movement to music.
The Lyrical programme of study is suitable for any age and it is one of the most enjoyable forms of dance. most students enjoy this because it is very much their own style and feeling.

ACROBATIC
The flexibility of acrobatics can only enhance all forms of dance. It is a very good way of loosening the body and at the same time giving strength
and natural progression without strain.

MEDAL TESTS
In addition to our examinations BTDA offers the Medal Test System.
This is a performance award system by which students perform in front of an audience thus gaining important skills.
They can perform in a solo, duet, trio or group form in any discipline.
The system commences with Bronze Medal ending up with Performance Cup.
This is a very rewarding and encouraging system for students and parents are encouraged to watch and support their children as part of the process.
STREET JAZZ/OMMERCIAL
This is a fun subject where students learn different styles of dance form working with various types of music . They are encouraged to put their own individual style into the dance moves and develop their confidence and personality through dance. The medal tests are offered in this subject but are not compulsory
MUSICAL THEATRE/SINGING
The Performing Arts classes on a Saturday include vocal warm ups, songs that are used for singing medals, short poems/monalogues and acting work.
The Wednesday Musical Theatre class includes vocal warm up, musical theatre production numbers and acting work.
BTDA exams are offered in Musical Theatre.
The Wednesday Singing class is for Vocal production and technique. The BTDA medal test system for singing is offered in this class.
Examinations and medals tests are available the above subjects. All BTDA exams are accredited by GQAL and registration is required prior to a student's first exam.
